Taswell Stud only keeps on mice that are needed within the stud - there is not enough room to be keeping mice that are not going to be shown or bred from As a result, stock is rarely available for sale but there's no harm in getting in contact to ask. Although I'm happy to try to help you I do highly recommend contacting more experienced breeders instead as they are more likely to be able to supply you with mice. They are also going to be a much greater source of useful information to help you start breeding than I am as a novice. The best way to get in touch with these breeders is to become a member of the NMC. Shortly after you will be posted a yearbook containing adverts as well as the contact details of every member of the NMC. If you have chosen a variety you can ask on the NMC facebook group (which you have access to upon becoming a member of the club) which breeders are doing well, or alternatively you can sign up to receive the NMC News magazine which will contain show results, from which you can see who is doing well with what variety and give them a call.

Mice from Taswell Stud
Should you receive any mice from Taswell Stud I advise that they should undergo a quarantine period of up to 2 weeks at your premises. Should any mice begin to display signs of illness during this time that you are not prepared to deal with you are welcome to either a replacement or a refund (Please note: these replacement mice may be subject to significant waiting times and will be as similar to the original mice in variety, gender and age as possible). Before leaving the stud the mice will be treated for external parasites and will be showing no signs of any illness.
